From our humble origin working in London’s street food markets, CauliBox now services thousands of users in UK, with established partners including Morrisons and Veolia, with big ambitions as we approach a new phrase a of growth this year.
About our Team:
We are an ambitious, young, and purpose-led team (including one of our Founders named on Forbes 30 under 30 in 2021), passionate about making sustainability convenient and accessible to all through the power of design and technology. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds, specialising in campaigning, business development, food delivery logistics, and more. Our culture is open, collaborative, and friendly, where no idea is too small or outrageous.
We are looking for someone passionate about using their technical skills to build a robust system that enables a circular economy. After a successful pre-seed round and a tried-and-true business model, we are now looking for an important team member that joins our journey as we scale to eliminate disposables in the food sector once and for all.
About the Role:
- As our Tech Lead, you will lead the development of all technical aspects of CauliBox, including management, modifications, and improvement of our user-facing mobile app and backend administration panel.
- You will play a leading role in defining our developmental roadmap.
- You will be leading the expansion of our technical team to refine and expand our digital products.
- We hope our Tech Lead will grow with us as we expand our operations and be an integral part of our team.
About You:
- You will be leading the development of our digital products - you need to be as excited as are to build robust and scalable technology to support our clients and users in switching from disposables to reusables in a fun and hassle-free manner.
- You have an entrepreneurial and sustainable mindset, and are ready to make a difference to our environment with tech and data. Self-motivated, focused and will be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to driving growth and changes.
- Proven hands-on full-stack development experience with front-end (Android/iOS/Angular), back-end (database/Laravel/MySQL), systems integration, API design, and the full lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, and operational refinement.
- Some experience with AWS or willingness to learn and adapt to cloud computing management.
- Some management experience in small teams would be excellent, although absolutely not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to work as part of a team and alone, in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
